Care and Feeding Guide

Dietary Advice for mame shiba inu

The adult Mameshiba Inu, as a small breed, has a hip joint that is critical to care for on a daily basis. To enhance joint health and immunity, it is recommended that chondroitin and calcium tablets be added to meals in moderation.

Daily Care Guide

Compared to the Shiba Inu, the Mameshiba Inu sheds less hair during the moulting period, but still needs to be brushed daily to keep its coat neat and tidy. To protect the Mameshiba Inu's hair, it is recommended that the frequency of bathing be kept to about once a month. In addition, the Mameshiba Inu usually does not require additional grooming and styling.

Training Tips

Mameshiba Inu's natural love of freedom makes crate training and recall training very important for them. To ensure that he develops good behavior, it is recommended to start this training at an early age.
